There were many times I wanted to travel to see old friends/relatives but the thought of staying at someone's place horrifies me, don't know why. In the last decade I have been guest only once at someone's place for 2 nights (apart from my sister's & brother's places, which were just like my place) and I felt very uncomfortable.
