What no, I don't hate mainstream music. Justin Timberlake's new album is one of my favorites from this year for example. Lil Wayne is awful though.

It was my favorite album when I was 15 yeah. Nothing special about it now, though I wouldn't mind jamming a few songs every once in a while for old time's sake. And actually, the music from my avatar is quite pleasant...give it a try.

Re: Am in love with this Japanese mulatto female singer
I've heard of her long ago back when I was a jpop fan - don't judge me, I was in middle school, okay? We all have embarrassing pasts.
She's actually half-Korean, not Japanese (there are many Koreans there). I could never get to liking her music. It's kind of generic, really. And I feel for any half-black East Asians. They are usually alienated in society, more so than other mixed people in that region. Just look at Hines Ward's experiences in South Korea before his fame (he's half Korean). He clearly stated his sadness at his alienation but they only accepted him after he gained fame and fortune.
There is also Lou Jing, a half-black and half-Chinese young woman who took part in a competition show there and attracted such overwhelming hatred from the Chinese public that she begun to question her identity as a Shangainese person.
And it seems as though individuals in this region are reduced to stereotypically black images and roles (thanks to the wide reach and deep impact of American media on much of the world's views on blacks). It's as if they're seen as novelty acts and not Japanese (or East Asian). It seems as though half-white and half-East Asian people are considered to be more accepted than half-black and half-East Asians. Consider this - would Crystal Kay be as successful if she wasn't singing what is considered to be RnB in Japan? What if she sang classical Japanese music? Jero is a black American with a Japanese grandmother who sings Enka (a genre most like Japanese traditional music). He has nowhere the same amount of fame that Crystal Kay does in Japan but he may have if he were singing RnB.
Here's Jero's video for Umiyuki. His voice is so mashaallah:

All I see is much confusion, disillusion all around me.
