Ever hear of Andrew911 and similar sites? They exposed Somali girls by posting their pictures. I think at first, they posted pictures of Somali girls doing outrageous things but then they started to also post normal Somali girls doing normal things, like just smiling in a picture that was probably taken from their Facebook or other accounts. I remember my cousin was on there one time was I first heard about it. :/ The whole Somali community knew about it and relatives from abroad would call and tell the girl's parents. It was used to shame girls basically, even if they were not doing anything in the photos. The shame was due to the assumption that she must have been doing something "bad" if she was on the site in the first place.
