Adeer LamaG, make a blog. Seriously. Your written skills are an untapped resource and it'd be a shame not to utilize them.

Great story. Looking forward to the next part.

Abakar, Qaali and Zidane,

Soo dhowaada.

I thought that - you - the younger generation might no understand how things were in the 1980s and appreciate it. But, it seems that you are liking the story.

This story is getting better and better. You have one creative mind, Lam. :up:

PS: Dude, you still remember Xamar & Somalia in general very well.

PPS: About the stories you write, do you incorporate real life stories & events & fictionalize the whole thing or you make it up from scratch? :?:

I don't remember Xamar that much saaxib. But, as I realise that as I growing older my long term memory is improving ( while short term memory is deteriorating).

My stories are made from scractch but, there are always real life empirics that influence them; they contain sometimes my own observations or what other have observed and narrated to me.

I am not sure what your main profession is but it would be worthy if you get into writing short stories, even as a hobby. :idea:

I will consider having a blog. I don't have much time to write nowadays because of a hectic work schedule but I will try.

For instance, the guy from Bay who was taken to Hargeisa and said “Diin wa-se joogso” thinking that when people say “diinta aab..wase” they meant the tortoise;

:dead:

:lol: :lol: I laughed so hard walahi. tanaa soo xasuustay "Joogso ha dhag dhagaagin dable kacanaa ku kor taagan diinkaaga wase" :lol:

tnx LamaG for the great memories :wow:
