I don't think I ever had the choice of being sexually attracted to females, or get aroused by their body, or when they are close to me, their smell, etc, it just happened, I don't know if I have the "choice" to be attracted to men, I know I'm just not.

If you put on the pheromones of a cow in heat, a near by bull will try to mount you. So what choice does he have? We humans work in the same way, we also have pheromones that we get aroused by, a male is usually aroused by the female pheromones and vice versa. This is dictated by our genes. And just like any other part of the body, our genes can make mistakes, a male can be aroused by another male, and female with another female.

I'm not eliminating choice, nor am I saying it is completely genetic, the issue is far more complicated than that.

Homosexuality was considered a mental illness in the mainstream until very recently, with psychotherapy and counseling used to overcome it. Also what do you say to gay men who say they have never in their lives been attracted to girls, from early childhood they "liked" guys and as they went into adolescents were sexually attracted to guys in the same way most are attracted to girls?

And what the hell is "vain lust" in this case. Grandpa, do you have "vain lust" for guys, and that you just don't give in to them, or you have "vain lust" for girls? Can you imagine yourself ever being with a guy because of "vain lust"? If your answers are resounding no's, then how can you say people are not born with it?

Again, there are many types of homosexuals. Ones that identify as female, ones that are as manly as they come but are attracted to guys and not girls, ones that just have sex with guys because of social pressures or external pressures (prison type) even though they might still be heterosexual otherwise, and ones that are just bisexual. What I am talking about when I say you can be born gay, is the first and second ones I mentioned.
