From what I heard ( my sources are 100% spot on most of the time), the victim was smaller MJ sub-clans (Nux Jabrahil), but he was very active and well know among the MJ community. The killer who is from the elite cumar mohamud sub-clan felt he should have been the community leader and in a moment of rage killed the victim.

An Update on the MJ killer. The latest in my circle of women gossip is---this man has killed a person in Somalia before. He killed his nephew, from his mom side before. It was a meaningless dispute, it never brought to light because odeeyaal majeerten took care of it in a tribal affair meeting. His 'elite' distinguished clan took care to gather compensating funds for the victim even though they are very closely related.
