Are you serious? Because I don't like a series I'm a hipster? That has got to be the lamest argument going these days. I already explained where I think the series went wrong. The pacing after the first 10 episodes (which I even said were amazing) was abysmal, to the point where I no longer have interest in the show. I'm not too huge on anime, or rather I don't have the time to be but my favorites would be Cowboy Bebop, Full Metal Alchemist, Monster and Death Note. Obviously extremely obscure anime's...oh wait.

Bollocks, if you don't have time to watch anime why would you watch 25 episodes of a series that you were unimpressed with ? why not stop at the 12th 15th episode ? are you serious about life mate And what is up with the two nervous replies to one simple post, the cracks have started to appear Looool, you are rather eccentric my friend, I will give you that.

I will definitely have look at some of your recommendations over the weekend, lets hope its not those bizarre series in the weird part of the anime world, but I can sense they will be exactly that as you're clearly gagging to have another hipster moment.

I could watch it because episodes only come out once a week so it's easy to fit in episodes into my schedule without the risk of getting carried away. I watched it till the end in the hope it got better, but unfortunately it didn't. But you wouldn't know would you? You're defending something you've barely even watched and are trying to mask the cognitive dissonance you're feeling by trying to paint me as a hipster whatever that even means these days. It's all good though.

Okay. Just watched episode one and it was hella fun. The goku suits was a great idea. I didn't like her outfit though...

I have to agree with Key and AOC on this, the show is not all it's made out to be. The pacing of the first 10 episodes is crazy, I mean they go from breach of the wall to another, to training then all of a sudden they are Survey corp and they are fighting the Female Titan. The show relies on a lot of crude killing of characters, I was shocked at how many deaths there were, where you characters are not lasting more than an episode or two. Is it terror, fear, or the apocalyptic despair of a human looking monster that is eating people for no reason that the writer is trying to convey? The writer doesn't enrich the storyline with why this is happening, who are the powers that be, why do they have the power to transform, why is Annie killing people, where is elren's dad and why isn't he wondering himself it's been how many years since he seen him etc. No, instead of plot, it relies on spiderman-ike fighting at first than gradating to evangelion-like fighting to keep us engaged.

Does anybody else get creeped out by how the titans have ordinary looking heads. I think that is a major turnoff, and would of made the show better without that.
