You need it. Those atheists who do good want to be seen good human beings, all for the sake of financial, status, fame, etc gains. When a millionaire/billionaire atheist makes contributions, he/she expects the public to be moved, and as a result they buy his/her products (consumer goods, music, movie, etc).
