I dislike all Dhaanto songs that has come out in recent times. The only Dhaanto I slightly like is Deeqa Quruxsan by Jaango. Like the beats and lyrics it doesn't sound tacky like the rest of Dhaanto music/songs.

I am a Lander as well but find niiko a foreign Bantu dance. Somalilanders don't like it, they consider it "ceeb" in their country. Somaliland traditional
dances are Jandheer/Ceerigaabawi/Ciyaal Somali, Zeylici and a couple of others.

Actually Niiko is not a Bantu dance. It originates from Arabia and spread to Africa. And it is still danced in most Arab countries now days. Though now its the men that do it mostly it in Arab countries due to the strict congregations. Though women do it in private parties.

You're confusing it with belly dance. Niiko is a Bantu dance originating from Malawi, Tanzania etc. Arabs don't do niiko apart from Oman which
do the Malaya booty dance and the reason for that is Oman has some black mixture due to the people they intermixed with in Zanzibar.
