Lillaahiya wrote:^ The whole point of social media is connecting with people from around the world--people you'd never get the chance to prior to the internet.

Also how could you confirm who's a co-worker, who's a friend, what exactly is a normal guy?

I do have a Facebook and I can tell straight away!! Some girls be having like 3000 +. Good ones have 3000 pending on their friend request lol. What i meant normal guy is just your normal guy here in there , not bunch of weird social rejects

What's a social reject?

3000 on pending is reaching unless they've been pending since '06 and even then, that's ridic. Girls that are in the triple digits are usually insta/fb models who are known for being dymes and keep their pages open. Would you be jiggy w/ the wifey having 4, 5, 600 friends though :MJ:

95% of people on my Whatsup are either family/friends or colleagues that i all know in person.

I dont think i would monitor anything. If someone wants to disrespect what we have together,my prying eyes wont change a thing.

I am sure i wouldnt go around asking for his passwords and text history.

Credit history, criminal record those are given.

I always felt some of us has misunderstood the social network sites, when I see people with several thousand friends in fb I ask my self do they know all these then there r girls who put on Facebook pics which either theirs or they have stolen somewhere but are not suitable for social sites.

Being said if I come back to ur question, marriage is partnership and in partnership you negotiate the terms before the deal is closed so why not discuss everything in advance? As some members said trust is very important but it doesn't come out of nowhere, we have to create that environment.

PO is the male version of Jasmine6

There won't be much need for social media if i ever settle down tbh, she can keep whatever apps or network account she makes. Snooping around is l4m.

Actually there's one difference. You like people talking about you and attempting to figure you out PO

This takes me back, people have been saying it for years.

This sharing of passwords is not sitting well with me. Will you ask your kids to hand over their passwords too? Anyway it's not like the account is secret qofkoow ku ag fadhiyaa ama ku ag marayya ayaad baa facebook ku jirtaa oo sawiro daawanaysaa ama qof la hadlaysaa. What should be a cause for concern is when they make completely different accounts and hide (not the passwords but their existense) from you
