Time of origin:

Place of origin:

Horn of Africa

Grant is the only one that claims that this haplogroup originated else where.

i have never heard of Somalis been part of the Moors.

Zoomalis love to claim anything and everything under the sun even though who the Zoomalis are is in question.

This remind me of one of Sheikh Mustapha's lecture were he was talking about the dangers of archaeological digs and false information in this day and age.
Can you imagine those in Somalia? lets say there has been a discovery of a 2 thousand year old grave in some dusty corner of Somalia.
Then all the information from that grave and the interpretations of the finds leans towards some clan been very advanced, intelligent and all that palava.
Now, Somalis are arrogant enough but God forbid that geel jire mentality reinforced with so called "scientific facts" of what he use to be, there is no telling how
some people might digest such information. I know of lots of individual on this forum that will go over the edge and into the kufr pool.

Recently there has been lots of interest amongs young Zoomalis of their roots and if they are related to the pharaohs.
Everybody loves to belong or descended from great people in history but everytime i can't help but hear, see, and feel some alarm bells going off at the back of my head and the hair on my neck standing.
A simple example is when we are talking about our respective clans as opposed to another or especially those from minorities.

I always thank Allah for giving me the presence of mind to be aware of that inner dog that's itching to come out and bark.
And i also thank Allah for the ability to restrain such beast with its leash.

Ps...Ximanjaalow mareexan la'aan gaab baad tahay laakin waxaan filaya anigu in aan kaa la'aan dheereysanahay

Sorry i think i have gone off topic there.

Meyle,

Smaller bites?

"Haplogroup E1b1b (formerly E3b) represents the last major direct migration from Africa into Europe. It is believed to have first appeared in the Horn of Africa approximately 26,000 years ago and dispersed to North Africa and the Near East during the late Paleolithic and Mesolithic periods. E1b1b lineages are closely linked to the diffusion of Afroasiatic languages.

Grant used to claim the opposite so it doesn't matter what he's posting now. He used to argue that Somalis originally came from North Africa while using the haplogroup as "proof".

I was just pointing that out.

dirnimo iyo sheikh isaxaaq carabnimadisa shaki wuu iga gali kara
laakin islamnimadayda wax aliyaaliyo wax shakiya oo igaga jira ma jiro

Ps...I feel your insecurity thou. you accepting Dir will jeopardize SL iyo ictiraafka jidka ku soo jira

:Heh:@ insecurity

I was pointing out your hypocrisy, adiguba wax aanad aheyn baad sheegataa so why oppose others when they claim the Moors, Pharaohs etc.

Why would I accept something I'm not?

How would it jeopardize Somaliland?

dhageyso yawaryaa

saying Isaq waa Dir doesn't mean isaaq baan diidanay nor do i believe Dir ah superior to isaq.
i was curios as to why 99% of Dir believe that Isaq are their brothers and whether there is some truth to that statement.
Nothing more nothing less.

By jeopardize, i was going by your comment of how accepting such claim will effect SL.
you said it not me.

Unlike you i believe that SL is part of the land the Prophet (saw) blessed...

why do you think it remained peaceful for two decades when next door went up in flames?

Dir are great people but we haven't claimed Dir for over 700-800 years so why would we start now?

The 4.5 was created to undermine Isaaq not Somaliland.

Somaliland is truly blessed :wow: :sland:

But you're from the french toilet next doors :steviej:

Around 12-13 AD, there are manuscripts regarding his travels and geneology but I don't have them.
