Star-Kunt first of all, Meyle is in the Isaaq private group for what its worth. Another one of your silly claims put to bed.

Your making no sense. Everybody and their dog knows Puntland region is ''DESERT'' not arid like the other region but out right desert. I have shown you the rain fall for the whole of Somalia and your come backs have been silly girly chats. Man up bring prove to back your claim. Otherwise lose all credibility and everybody on this forum will know your not worth a reply..

Hassan Hussain aka Pinky KnightfoWisdom, you can settle on the moon for all we care. The discussion is bait whether Puntland is a full blown desert.

Firstly Oog is a tuulo that is like the sahara, source ? Also 1 cedar tree

Sky that link you gave you do realize it said the capital was Xamar  Also it showed Jubbland as the same climate as hargeisa ? You think thats right ? I dont think Jubbland is arid. Put the Khat down.

Hodan94/Khalid Cali we need none of your comments.

Look at the map and then go to sleep, your pride is worthless.

The land of Punt is an undefined area, also the name was used to signify the connection between Somalis and this piece of antiquity. Not everyone thinks like you guys of Somalidiid.

I'll say it again do you want me to post pics of Darood lands ?

Not that your equal to Darood.

Somaliland receives considerably higher amounts of rainfall annually than Puntland and that is mainly due to differences in elevation. That is why Population density is also much higher in Somaliland. There is a link between the rainfall a region receives and the density of its population. If you want to read a comprehensive study about somali climate and geography click the link bellow.

You see samatar133 makes a pertinent and valid point and i accept it and it's somewhat true however i don't approve of the flag.

However Somaliland which is Waqooyi galbeed, Togdheer (not Cayn) and Western Saanaag is still a semi arid climate. I've said it before many times the whole Waqooyi is arid and dry including Awdal which is arid apart from Borama.
Let me just say Somali lands is mostly arid because of over grazing and Somalis still living in the middle ages not adopting new technology and methods, so don't feel bad.

There are towns in 'Somaliland' that are yes green however most is semi-arid suitable for grazing and other nomadic behaviour.

Whereas in Koonfur.......well i'm sure you know what its like there.

Its like you kids literally like enjoying taking needles out of haystacks and splitting hairs.
As i'm dealing with a bunch of HJ's i'll post the idioms. Don't start something you can't finish.

Don't start something you can't finish.

But don't feel bad this is all Somali lands anyways. :som:
