I had trouble posting a few and will have to resize. For now, that's what there is. Sorry for the dearth of comments. I will try to answer any questions you have.
The lady in the last photo is Eileen Barthold, who taught in Jamaame. She was there for all of an hour one afternoon. The lodgings belonged to the Mayor, before my house was built. The lady and gentleman together are Aday Cumer and Said Ali, my landlord and lady. He was director of the Agraria and most agricultural operations in the Lower Jubba. The single ladies are Maryam and Mu-mo, boyessas. The lone guy is Abdi Salaad, who was Secretary to the Somali-Soviet project just outside town, and my best friend. Together with Ibrahiim Mohammed Sheikh Suleiman, whose picture is there going to school, these are the friends I have been concerned for and am still trying to locate.
