My Dad had two slave Ogaden woman from Carwada refugee camp in Hoden Mogadishu working for us cleaning the houses and washing in rerun we give food and sometimes shelter. My Dad told me Carwada in Hoden district was turn in to refugee camp late 80's and filled up with Ogaden refugees from Ethiopia by Siyad Bro this people use to walk and come as far as Waberi distric where we lived looking for work and food.

And if you don't know now you know N.I.G.G.A.S

I don't think any of my relatives owned slaves, I don't even think they owned anything more than livestock.

Whatever happened in the past, those people are mostly deceased so Ilaahey ha ka cafiyo

You think of slavery and kunta kinte comes to mind however I doubt there was any such cruelty in Somalia but it's still something shameful
