i think they are both right, marsin has no other option but to join the enemy because he cant defeat them. hawdian sees the opportunity to make money from the 90 million country, he has nothing to loose.

What can you do? we tried our best in 1977 and we were defeated both militarly and politically. we cant liberate them. let them live there, same goes to the somalis in kenya and the daaroods in somalland. every one must learn how to survive with his stronger country men.

its interesting, how the isaaqs are minority in the kilil, and the daarods are minority in somaliland. atleast the kilil has federal government who can investigate any regional government wrongdoings, the amhar can replace any one they want. but in somaliland the soldier and the highest government bodies are from the same clan, only that same clan voters have the power to replace or keep somebody in office.

No problem sxb, Marehan is misunderstood gob. You know the gob has thorns too. Hadi qodaxdi gobta qar farta ka yara muday, it doesn't mean its no longer the same gob.

I have no issue with Marehans nor most Daroods.

I'm more into defending Isaaq ideals, attitudes, culture and society rather than what happened between them and Barre.

The Hutus are not Somali at all so they are not even part of my equation. Majority of the Cagdheer are not bad folks and most the issues arises from the southern and central Reer Abdille....but the rest are cool including our Reer Isaac neighbours.

Actually it was the English , the English called the isaaq territories Hawd and reserve area the , the rest the Ogaden country , The brits had interest , The Emperor later played their role and continued their legacy , than the treacherous English gave our land to the Xabashi Emperor. To reward the Emperor for his role in the Second world war against the Fascist Italians and Germans. But ONE DAY we will regain our lost land, but for the time being it will be part of Ethiopia until we get rid of the walanweyn corps
