Self hating Somalis cry for Palestine, neglect Somalis

There is no such thing as Somalis valuing palestinian life more than the Somali.

It just doesn't make sense.
A cheap tactic by none Muslims.

The Palestinians are not like their fellow brethens in KSA, Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon, etc. who ass lick for the west and yuhuuda. Imams in mosques in the Gaza strip mentioned Somalia during Friday PRAYERS last week and asked Gazans to donate to their brothers there.

Moreover, the Arab Doctors Union Gaza branch ran a campaign asking the people of Gaza to donate to people of Somalia.

The campaign, called "From Gaza hand in hand to SAVE THE CHILDREN of Somalia", will last throughout Ramadan.

The Union took out advertisements supporting the campaign in local radios and websites to encourage people to contribute to the campaign. It is planning advertisements on local television also.

Various people responded to the campaign, but most DONATIONS came from the local non-governmental organisations and some wealthy businessmen, according to the organizers of the campaign.

One of the donors, Mohammed Abd Al Latif said, "I saw the pictures of our brothers in Somalia and felt so sorry for them; I wanted to do anything to help."

"The campaign aimed at demonstrating the extent of physical cohesion between the besieged Gaza and Somalia, showing that the Palestinian people are capable of supporting and standing by the Somali people," said Ahmad Hathat, the PUBLIC RELATIONS officer of the Union.

The charity campaign underscores the fact that Gaza is swimming in surplus aid from an international community willing to underwrite the national aspirations of Fatah and Hamas to the extent that their enclaves have become transit points, rather than a destination, for aid.
Every poor country should WANT TO have a border with Israel. If you have a border with Israel, all you have to do is to say you want to destroy Israel, and then you get a limitless supply of international aid.

Humaneness denotes having the capacity to be empathetic towards a people experiencing, brutal occupation, discrimination, indiscriminate aerial bombardment/shelling, systematic land-grabbing, forced eviction/exile, denial of humanitarian aid and healthcare etc. All peoples deserve to live in dignity whether they are Somali or Palestinian is besides the point, the majority of the afflicted are innocent and helpless. Their freedom fighters are vilified, and their puppet leaders kneel before the world powers who view them as 'undesirables' and 'unimportant' in their designed grand scheme.

Abdi Johnson you epitomize the characteristics, and sentiments of a 'self-hating Somali' At first you came across as a politically correct(Uncle Tom) who idolizes western civilization, but these days I get the feeling that you despise Islam because CNN and the good ol' US of A whispered in your ear I hope this is just your internet persona, at the end of the day you are a Somali, we all criticize elements in our culture and religious extremism, however don't try to sell your chosen religion/doctrine of 'western liberalism and agnostic thought' to Somali people, it's futile.

In an attempt to end my rant on a positive note, I believe your stance on tribalism/corruption and your denunciation of the content posted by the many mentally bankrupt users on this site is both admirable and progressive, if you want to make a positive change I suggest you rethink your advocacy methods.

If you Somalis embraced "Western liberalism and agnostic thought", you'd be living in dignity. We are rolling around in our own feces at the moment and religion coupled with backwards and barbaric Somali culture is to blame.

I dont want to here 50 years from now Somalis bitching about why they are in the same state. I identified the problem and have given you the solution. I hope you people make the right decision. If you want an end to territorial disputes, creation of multiple clan states, terrorism, FGM, suicide bombings, khat addiction, rag tag militias, corruption, mudhut infrastructure , lack of strong government institutions, unprofessionalism, then follow my lead. If you want the same old ways of the Somali people, then by all means. But understand your unwillingness to change is standing in the way of progress. Keep at it and even your grandchildren will have no access to proper medical facilities decades from now. Everything is linked.

Anyways I'm almost starting to give up on Somalis; you're right, its futile. Let them live how they please.

I see 2-3 Somali newcomers basically everyday. Many from even the peaceful regions. I might not have been able to win their hearts and minds (the battle) but I won the war. For every new skinny fugee I see in 2014 just proves how right I really am and how wrong you people really are

To see a group of people, including so many women, children, babies, innocent men being destroyed for fun...it would break anyone's heart and outrage them. To assume a righteous better than thou stance is completely inhumane. No human life is more valuable than others. An innocent killed is an innocent killed. More people are reacting to Palestine because its not a civil war, it is another country, against a weaker and incapable group. It has become everyone's war, Jews vs Muslims, Muslims vs Jews. Who cares about civil wars?

We should definitely be more involved in the Somali conflict. I wish we were walahi, I wonder how much better of we'd be if Somalis cared about the plight of SOMALIS lol.... In words Somalis claim to be the proudest nation on earth, but in reality they are nothing but Arab worshiping ignorant slaves. Whenever they go to Arab countries the first questions they are asked is who used to own them as a slave. 300,000 poor Somalis have died in the famine of 2011 but no one really cared. You did not see them cry, get enraged, or try to change the situation. They would just shrug their shoulders.

So far couple of 100 Palestinians have have died due air strikes by the Nazi jewish state of Israel and all you see is ignorant lil Somali sluts getting their ugly scarves in a twist and grown men moaning about what is hapenning to the Plalestinians. Another famine is predicted in few months which could possibly kill another 250,000 Somalis, most of them children and so far no one is talking about it or willing to take action to counter it. But then again we are talking about the world's most failed state, full of nothing but ignorant self hating Arab slaves. May allah strike them, and may Ethiopia invade it all with the exception of Somaliland, and then enslave them.
