What's happening in all these Muslim countries is a test from Allah to Ummah. But addressing what's happening In Palestine isn't being favoritism or showing more compassionate for one nationalities suffering over another. When the early muslims in mecca were being prosecuted and tortured they complained to the prophet (pbuh), he told them that the people before them would go through severe pain so much so that they would be cut in two while they are alive yet they remained faithful to their deen, also this is a sahih account from the prophet's isra:

The question is if any of us were being tested by Allah in such conditions would we give up, complain, vent frustration or remain patient? I remember when the prophet (pbuh) was chased out of Taif and this was when he was still mourning the loss of his wife for more than 20 years and yet in the face of all loss he said to Allah

If you constantly adressed Palestine and even ignore your own people who are in a worse situation, yes it called favouritsm. I dont think this is natural concern from you lot but then again i dont have good explanition for your behavior but i be suprised if it not something to do with inferior complex. You people allways talk about the Ummah in middle east but never those "ummah" in Somalia, Burma, CAR , Ogadenia, Oromia etc.. Do you view these people as less muslims?

It seems people are having a hard time grasping the fact that you can show sympathy for Palestinians (or anybody for that matter) while also being mindful of the suffering of your own people (along with the all the other Muslims). It almost seems like you have to pick a side.

That's the thing though, it ain't about being vocal about both cases which would have been admirable, in fact its one sided. What if I told you some not only believe Somali Government can do no wrong, but also take any criticism about the Somali government as insult to their tribe, and that everything is sunshine and rainbows in Muqdisho all the while lamenting about Palestinians.

I didn't mean you dude, but it seems that these Palestine related threads end up descending into 10 pages of shouting matches over who deserves more sympathy. As for generalizing, I would imagine (I'm not sure what goes down in the politics sections) that your example of people blindly supporting the Somali government and taking offence on behalf of their tribe while showing support for Palestinians in these threads is a more unique occurrence than the many people in these threads shooting people down for simply showing sympathy for Palestinians regardless of their individual stance on Somalia, but I could be wrong.
