No, Ebola first appeared in 1976 in 2 simultaneous outbreaks, in Nzara, Sudan, and in Yambuku, Democratic Republic of Congo. The latter was in a village situated near the Ebola River, from which the disease takes its name..

To be honest, Euraisans if you believe in Evolution have according to genetics about 4%-6% Neanderthal ancestry (This admixture is found in all non-African groups & groups in Africa with outside admixture)

Melanesians & Native Australians have been found to have even more admixture...

I'm convinced West Africans have like 20% some extinct hominid admixture, They already suspect archaic admixture but the place (West Africa) is horrible in preserving stuff so we've yet to find any proper DNA sample of the hominids who use to live in that part of the word.
