Most women who bleach are trying to meet your preference.Tan kale, I heard the number of Faraxs engaging in this destructive habit is also increasing. Maxaa talo ah? Start with the man in the mirror ..love yourself and watch what you say. When I'm around my Somali brothers and they are talking about their ideal beauty ..most of them stress that they wouldn't get with a dark skinned chick. Now, if I am a sister who has a complex perhaps this would encourage me to get hooked on that creamy crack. Just saying.

You are wrong, it's not a result of a patriarchal society. It's personal responsibility. There's no evidence 9/10 Faaraxs prefer light skin. The trend of "light skin beauty" is a new phenomenon in our community, not older than 10-15 years and that's the same period that the nonsense got into the entertainment industry. Girls learn from Nicki Minaj and Beyonce, not Abdalle and Guleed.

FGM is, skin lightning is not.
