nayaa listen to me carefully. at age 40 your clock will stop dead (u aint gonna get pregnant). your mom is 100% right, you need to get married. continue working, then have a baby every 2-3 yrs (white women do this, why can't you?). if you have babies at late, like over 36yrs+, you will most likely end up having kids with mental/health issues. plus don't you wanna enjoy the halal sex which comes free with marriage.

Jamal u just made my day with that comment. You strike me as the type to get married for the halal sex, when I think marriage the last thing I think about is sex..is that strange? I am more concerned with the companionship aspect of it. Having someone around that I can do stuff with.

A study was conducted a while back by a prestigious university which said, a woman over 30 has a better chance of getting hijacked on a plane by a one-eyed left-handed terrorist while it fell from the sky from a lightning strike only to be swallowed by Loch Ness Monster than getting hitched...I am just saying.

Moral of the story, err, study: If you are over 30 just marry the first Farax you see on the bus.

Get married Bonita and follow my advise. Yes, you've succeeded in certain areas, but that's not all.

Again, pretending to be less of who you are to attract a man? Let him find out afterwards? No. lol @ Hot headed feminist xalimo. Weak men like to belittle women who are more qualified than themselves!

Anyways, You're missing the point of the thread. It is not complaining that she is single, its that we are pushed through school only to be expected to be a stay at home mom with no actual achievements in your career. Inevitable scenario: Mashallah, She is so smart, she got a masters, landed a great job and got married soon after and had kids and lala the end.

If you want a personal chef and baby maker, then please go find one. Leave the real men to the educated ladies.

LoveA, trust me: It depends with what a woman wants. It has nothing with pretending - it's just that men are very simple creatures.
But Bonita will be making her own choice. I want her to be happy - I hope she will be happy.
