People in the private group used to post pictures of the Amazon region in Brazil and say that it was Garowe. It is obvious that Hargaysa is better, but Xamar is still better.

Darood are too widely dispersed to have one main city like Hawiye and Isaaq. We have Bosaso and Garisa seperated by 1500 KM. Darood don't share cities, every Darood subclan has their own main cities, while isaaq and Hawiye are concentrated in one main city. We simply have too much land to achieve sufficient population concentration.
But Darood have so many medium to large sized cities that it more than makes up for the deficit.
Kismayo is what I predict will become the main Darood city of large size
