I can make sabaayad, well I made it before and it made my arm and wrist hurt. You have no idea how much kneading you have to do and rolling stuff is also not the easiest. So now I just buy this thing from the supermarket, I think it's Indian. It's frozen and you put it on a hot pan for a few minutes and viola! Magaca aa ii gambiye
Paratha.my cousin eats that shit.but its still not sabaayad.very different.indians actually have something that is not like chaphati and very close to kimis, still not the real thing though.i once had at at indian place in north west london.

You're right though, it's not as thick. That just means you have 2 instead of 1 though and you're sorted lol

I think we should go visit our ancestorland Jasmine. We can do a tour of Cadaado, to dhuusamareeb, to balanbale, and end at caabudwaaq. We will come out experts in Somali. :mrgreen:

Shaah bigeys/rinji ain't really my thing I mostly drink shaah cadeys ah. But ofcourse shaah rinji with my canjeelo Iyo oodkac. I don't understand people who add shaah cadeys to their canjeelo :scusthov:

I know it's sweet but I'm addicted to sweet things lol. Yea it tastes better when they are both fresh. I also dig fresh sabaayad with sugar on top plus shaah cadeys. I know I'm macmacaan socda but I just can't help it. :lol:
