Alkalab animals must be losing supporters, which is why they attacked innocent kenyans to try to sway public opinion that their mission is to halt Xamar from progressing. I doubt Alshabaab is capable of killing 36 Kenyans without any undercover involvement from Kenyan Officials. Remember, Kenya is desperate to deport qaxootis from the country and this latest attack helps strengthen that.
