On a serious note though, if they're in the West and he came up with this stupid demand, he's lucky that she's baariyad enough to even listen to him. It's a matter of time before she flips out, tells him to screw himself and ends up with a bum.

All I can say is she is a good daughters to put up her father 's demands . I know much families they have no option but to eccept anything their daughters or sons bring.

I agree with Hyper. Too many families out there settled for nothing. But in honesty though--Islam only requires a man be a practicing, salat praying muslim who will take care of his wife. Simple really.
