Crushing your baby's genitals to make them bleed sounds pretty barbaric to me. And it's really ignorant to think this will somehow reduce libido (this is a bad thing now?) by making "it grow less in height". There's billions of women out there with unmutilated genitals who have healthy sex drive and aren't dragging a foot long clit.

I mean length(I was thinking of my teacher's words,literal translation I did)

Walalo I do enjoy intellectual exchange of ideas, but if one mentions an authentic hadeeth fariin aan qabtaa. I remember researching this before, hadeeth was authentic. So ineey fiican tahay shaki kuma jiro. Caso chiuso.

It is not crushing, wax yar oo pinching ah waaye, for their own benefit.

Libido reduction I don't know, its a measure taken to avert danger,it does not mean the girl will not fall into foul play. Islam is about reasonable prevention, there are anomalies due to human characteristics. Some men are 'attracted' to women in hijab more so than those than don't adorn themselves with this, yet can we say iska siiba hijabka faido ma leh.

Waa practice Rasoolka benefits ku tilmaame, lakiin waajib ma ahan.

They just want to bully our already frail community. My friend gave birth to a girl and got two midwives give her some long lecture and basically made her sign some disclaimers.Like seriously...

ps: There is a type of circumcision that is allowed on girls, the one when a girl is born, the mother wets her fingers and dips it in a container that has salt granules and pinches the clit to make it bleed just a little. That is said to reduce the over sensitiveness of that organ and makes it grow a little less in height. My somali syrian teacher explained it to me. This will help the young ladies protect their chastity and makes elicitation of desire require a tard bit more effort...

The cutting of the lips is horta not good. As women lose a bit anyway as they give birth and are stitched.
Sorry, what was explained to you and by who?
