You know there is one somali artist that has managed his image well and who is heftily paid...
He rart does appearances ...he picks and chooses...
When he does a wedding event it has to be 5k..
Dudes that are very popular right now who are rotten in Africa are Mohamed BK..you see if we had a good agents then someone could've sponsored his tour of the West..the agent would ask that he be given 35 % but he will organize his tour so that can hit 40 cities in Europe and North America ..that's the power Mohamed BK got ..this dude can easily generate 1 mill in one year's tour of every Somali city..dude can spend a whole 3 months in the UK singing one weekend in Liverpool another weeken in Cardiff then another in Belfast and another in Dover ..you get my drift

Mohamed BK is only liked by old habros and wounded girls who like ultra-claacal. Those are not party-goers. Now Gues who would make a killing from Hargaisa ? Nimcaan and that kid Mursal, those two can generate traffic but not Mohamed BK. 80% of post 1990 Somali Music is awful to say the least. And thats why they are broke.
