I do not live in the ghetto, and I'm trying my best not to generalize. Most Somalis in Ontario are in fact pretty normal, but I'm highlighting the ones who act in ways they shouldn't. I know plenty of Somali women in Ontario and they are very classy and intelligent, I agree.

But yeah, I was a little too provocative about the "befriending" thing....and I take that previous statement back and apologize for it.

It's just that I just don't like to see Somalis imitate destructive behavior...whether it's joining ISIS (like that Somali kid from Calgary) or whether it's participating in criminal behavior that'll land you in prison or the cemetery. Both are terrible. Your are who your friends are. And you have to be very careful who you befriend or else you might get caught up in the same lifestyle as them. I've seen it happen to too many people. I've seen some Pakistani brothers who started partying with Russians and Eastern Europeans, participating in their lifestyle, and then eventually landing themselves in a hospital due to a drug overdose. I've seen all sorts of incidents where this plays out...and it reinforces the fact that you have to be EXTREMELY careful who you befriend. If a Somali befriends some Ghanaian or a Punjabi person then I wouldn't really say anything, but I've seen Somalis destroy themselves simply because they associated with other Somalis who were negative influences, or because they associated with Afro-Americans, Tamils, Jamaicans, Guyanese, etc.

Scandinavian Somalis - Youth follow Urban Arab/turk culture, adopt unnecessarily thick slang lingo to impress fellow youth, they say wallah instead of walahi. Girls here are above average.

America Somalis - Youth follow Urban Black culture, they work hard because if they didn't they would all die, that is the life in the free world lol, but apart from working out of pure survivalist instinct, they are no different to the UK Somalis. @TheMailMan lol you obviously don't know shit about Ontario Somalis. I lived in both Ottawa and Toronto my entire life and nowhere else so let me you tell you the actual truth. First of all Ottawa Somalis are much more religious and down to earth than Toronto Somalis. Mashallah they have a lot of programs that are suited and geared towards the Youth. Like every winter break and march break they have MBA, it's basically a Somali basketball league/tournament and it's main focus is keeping those niggas off the streets and in the gyms during the breaks. They have a lot of other masjid programs too. More Ottawa niggas attend university too mashallah. Even though Toronto has this MBA thing a lot of niggas don't do it.

We have a reason to generalize. Somalis from Toronto have single handedly ruined the Somali image in Canada. People who've never seen visible minorities in their lives now know us as the people who sold crack to Rob Ford and went to the media acting like they hit the jackpot. Needless to mention all the high profile shootings over the years have had a connection to reer Toronto. I remember there was an MBA tourney in Ajax a year ago and the Ottawa Jr team blew out the Toronto team, and instead of taking the loss like a man, they started a massive brawl that required police to come. I'm sure there's many good god-fearing Somalis in Toronto, but there's a large portion of your community that cause problems for Somalis as a whole.

Canada - Sell outs, act more black then Somalis. Alcoholics, No religion.
USA - Hardworking people, religious, but again not a lot of people with Somali culture.
Europe - Party heads, no religion, Alcoholics. Very well educated people
Arab - Snobbish people, like to fellow and act like rich Arabs.

London - Very laidback lifestyle, religious, very strong Somali community and culture.
