why cant somali women keep their ceeb affairs to themselves. why do they have to urge to share their ceeb with the rest of the world. It is the stupid mothers and grandmothers who initiate, request and force young girls to mutilate their siils. It is not a men forcing poor defenceless women to have ceeb mutilation.

The entire affair is f-king grim. The incapacitated folks who introduced this could have opted for any other base and primitive ritual but they just had to redefine the meaning of barbarity by dicing up the female privates. What's even worse is that this insanity is still prevalent.

I'm totally with you on that, but here's the thing, I may sound like LoveandLight but the truth is the exact same can be said about male circumcision. Primitive rituals that should be left in the past.



I'm glad most of your families are abandoning or have abandoned the practice, that is an amazing trend. But the fact of the matter is, in Somalia, where it is 60:40 rural and a good percentage of the urban population are actually just as badow as the rural folk, FGM is still widespread.

These debates on Female circumcision have little to do with the realities on the ground. I have not come across an objective analysis of the phenomenon so the strong opposition seems to be purely ideological, fitting in well with the self-serving aims of liberals who look for new crusades in every nook and cranny, creating them out of thin air if need be. As a rational realist who holds back on taking an opinion on something until i'm fully informed I have not yet taken a position on female circumcision. But I do know that progressives, with the help of sell-out Somali women, are using it as a weapon of cultural subversion. Just because there is a seeming consensus on an issue, we shouldn't just assume its correct and parrot the prevailing view like sheep. In fact, a consensus on a social issue should make us even more skeptical. There are some cultures that practice the Mutilation/Torture of baby girls.

Do you think that the TERROR and NEAR DEATH EXCRUCIATING PAIN inflicted on older girls will be less for the baby? Babies are new to this World and have not acclimated to feeling all sorts of different pains. Their Brain and Nervous System is still developing. Babies feel pain in a larger area of the body. They are hypersensitive to pain. A baby will feel pain differently than an older child or adult.

Many Muslim people think that Male Genital Mutilation is obligatory for boys. Genital Mutilation of Males and Females is Not Commanded by Allah and is Not Mentioned Anywhere in the Quran. Ignorant parents believe whatever they are told. Many are illiterate. Some of those who can read do not bother to research Genital Mutilation (or if it is written in the Quran). To this day, many Somali people believe Allah Commanded the Brutalizing of Female and Male Children (Including Baby Boys).

Genital Mutilation puts the child's life in Danger. Healthy and Sensitive Body parts are cut in the most Horrendous ritual. For most children (including baby boys) there is no Anesthesia given to them. They feel the Terror and Excruciating SAKARAATUL MAUT PAIN!

Do you know what is Suspicious of the Mutilation of Children? It is done to babies and young children who cannot give Informed Consent, and more importantly who cannot resist. Children in Somalia are chattel. They have no right to their own bodies.

Some Somali parents have brought their Disgusting Dhaqan with them to the countries that they have settled in. Many Somali girls born in the West have experienced this Gruesome ritual.

People should be shocked at a culture that Mutilates and Tortures the entire Population! No Soul is Safe in that Godforsaken Balkanized Country!

Very few people escape the Brutality of Genital Mutilation in Somalia. According to UNICEF, In a recent survey 98% of Somali Women said that they had undergone Female Genital Mutilation. Somalia Has One of the Highest Prevalence Rates of Female Genital Mutilation in the World.

This is interesting. From the little knowledge I have on FGM, the damage is extremely severe and permanent due to nerve damage. I just wonder what exactly reversing means in the said procedure. I think it would be futile if she is not regaining normal function including the ability to experience pleasure.
