In majority of cases the guys who commit those heinous attacks are not religious people. They are just angry about the political situation and commit violence in the name of Islam. The vast majority are not religious.

The more you learn about Islam, the softer your heart grows and the more love will enter your heart, and you will see the mercy and perfection of your lord. So study your diin and be sincere.

Since the advent of Boko-Haram, Alshabab, Alqaeda and similar ideologically inclined groups have decimated their mosques, beheaded them and condemned them as apostates, they woke up from their long snooze and are fighting back while organising themselves as a strong political and militarily entity. They fought and defeated Alshabab in Galgaduud and now, they are fighting the federal government forces. Suufidii la kici, bal yaa soo dejin doona.

As talks between Somalia’s government and the moderate Sufi militias in central Somalia failed to come through, heavy fighting restarted in the region weeks after the government lost a key town to the militia.

Intense clashes between forces from the Ahlu-Sunna Waljama militias and government troops broke out on the outskirts of Guriel, a town Galgadud region on Tuesday. Sufi militia leaders accuse the government of violating an agreement signed by the two sides two years, however, the government official remain tightlipped on the latest development.
