I don't know for some reason dark skinned people compared to their lighter skinned counterparts preserve better, when they are tall it gives the illusion they are taller, when they are thin they look slimmer, when they have sharp features its more striking. They might not be best suited for cold climates but they can manage to stay in the sun longer. Not to mention melanin does prevent free radical damage. So quit hating on darker skin and embrace the skin you are in. And please increase your Vitamin D levels with greater supplementation if you live in temperate climates.
