I take part in fundraising events and I pay the school fee for some children back home. Some of them in Qorilugud and others in cities like Hargeisa and Burco. Me and my cousin are currently busy with a project for the rural communities.

The problem with developing Qorilugud and other areas is that everytime we try to do it, some maniac oday will pop out of nowhere and say "bal u kaadiya, deegaanka hala nabadeeye". It's not that they're stupid and have fallen for the government's useless policy. It's just that they're whores bought by Axmad Silaanyo at the expense of our deegaan and its youth.

Malxolm X said, "if you take up arms you'll end it but of you sit around and wait for the ones in power to make up his mind that he should end it, you'll be waiting a long time". The government is not sincere about ending conflicts and they're using the armed forces and money to prevent an ending to these conflict.

This is one of the many reasons why I'm traveling to Somaliland this summer.

Salebaan Gaal has caused more damage than good, only in a parallel universe have he done something good. He fled to Somaliland in 1989 not because he would pick up a gun and defend Isaaq but because his life was on the line, the same goes for many other Isaaq like Gaboose. In the early 90's, he fanned the flames of war with Cigaal etc. When they were losing the battle for Burco he asked 2 of my uncles (former SNM) to lead the counterattack and they told him that they wouldn't fight and kill the same people they fought to liberate.

In essence, you're a sub clanist and I'm not. I was not raised that way nor was I raised to be a common man.

There are 25 seat in Hargeisa Local govt. The Mayor is Sacad Musa, deputy Garxajis, xoghayaha is HY.
1. 11 seats Garaxjis, 7 Habar Yunis & 4 Ciidagale.
2. 9 seats Habar Awal, 8 Sacad musa & 1 Ciise muse.
3. 4 seats Arab Sh. Isaaq.
4. 1 seat HJ due to pressure from Kulmiye & Dhabshill money. This is the 1st time in history HJ got a seat in Hargeisa. The HJ guy was elected from 'Daanta' Sacad Musa in Jigjigga yar.

Traditionally, the 4th was given to Ayub or Gabooye, but this yr HJ got it through Silaanyo being President.
