I like qaxwo somali better than coffee.
I am getting addicted to qaxwo ever since I came here :|
About quitting? Never really tried to quit anything I was addicted to.
Like Advo, I used to have a lot of coca cola per day. I never tried to quit it, so I realised I quit it after not having it for like 2 months. I was like :o
But the only thing I have always been addicted to till to this date is tea. Specially green tea. I never want to quit it at all. If I don't have at least a cup a day, then I end up getting a headache.

My childhood, back when I thought being a boy would give me more freedom but today I see the error of my ways :blessed:

To know that if I ever feel like it I could chill at home and not work, not study, not contribute to society other than raise rugrats and people will applaud :wow: If I feel like it I could work and earn just as much, study and get pretty much the same opportunities, rise up the corporate ladder or become a businesswoman and people would applaud :wow:

Pretty much anything you do as a female is recognition worthy  Our existence is applauded, men couldn't survive without us. You'd be depressed souls dying early deaths (btw you should get married, it will increase your life expectancy)

Getting a headache for not having it is a very coffee-ish reaction. Didn't know you could get like that with green tea

OK, you win second half of the first part, the part where our existence would be shitty without women yada yada (but on the other half, both sexes have the abilities to be good, productive members of society whose successes would be applauded, or the complete opposite).

But marrying increases men's life expectancy? Haven't heard such bullshit for a very long time. For men, the opposite is absolutely true.

It is indeed addictive. It is really hard for me during ramadan, specially the first few days. Headaches all the way :(
So what I usually do is, drink a cup right after saxuur even though I don't like waking up for saxuur, just for the sake of the tea I wake up and have it.
My mum says I am like a smoker who can't wait to break the fast ( usually breaks his fast and then takes a puff) and also at saxuur, the last thing smokers do is smoke 2 or 3 cigs. :pac:

Don't put words on my mouth nigga. I said "I think" and it was obviously a joke that implies my hatred toward that drink (although based on true story) .

For your record, Somalis back home & diaspora drink mostly the Black tea, M-E folks drink Karak tea.

Osman, what I mean is as women, people underestimate us or try to put us in boxes marka anything you do well either inside or outside of that box is appreciated. Men not so much, but hey I'm just making lemonade, why complain when you can take positives from every situation

ps all facts
A major survey of 127,545 American adults found that married men are healthier than men who were never married or whose marriages ended in divorce or widowhood. Men who have marital partners also live longer than men without spouses; men who marry after age 25 get more protection than those who tie the knot at a younger age, and the longer a man stays married, the greater his survival advantage over his unmarried peers.
