A lot of their stuff is about to expire/already expired with fake labels or they use fillers and dilute products.

I'm always on my brothers case about these protein powders. They are so bloody expensive whatever happened to getting your protein from chicken, fish, lentils, milk/yogurts..

To be honest you don't really need a protein powder. You can get more than enough protein through your meals if your smart enough. Unless you need to gain in size that is but if all you want is for increase in protein in take it's not necessary..

Eat more high in protein foods. Meat, egg whites, lentils etc

It's a supplement for when you can't get your daily intake from food, and in my case, when alternatives are fatty.


GUYS TRUST ME, ENOUGH ALTERNATIVES. I'VE TRIED THEM lol. I ate hilib - not the fatty part for about a month. Yes I was getting protein, but how much in goat meat? I was gaining weight! Egg whites? Sorry but don't feel like eating fried whites, I can't make them here as health-wise as I was able to in Canada, plus, most egg whites have blood in them. Urgh.

Lentils, I am all for that. But otherwise, I appreciate the suggestions, it's just not easy in Hargeisa unless I am under-eating, to lose weight.

You live in the land of camel-milk. It has a lower fat and higher protein content than other types of milk. Take advantage of it. I wish Somalia exported camel-milk, I would stop using protein suppliments and just drink lots of that.

Imagine Camel Whey as opposed to whey produced from milk during the cheese-making process.

Zubeir it's a philosophy that's more geared toward niggas like us; dudes that are tryna get gains and put on size. IIFYM is basically another way of saying bulking dirty and bulking clean is the same shit as long as you reach your calorie goal. Evol is trying to lose weight. This philosophy still holds true but it just isn't as applicable in her case. When you are trying to lose weight the type of foods you eat must be monitored very critically. She's trying to get a protein source which allows her to reach her daily protein goal, but at the same time keep her calories low and fats low. Which is exactly what protein power does, you just get straight protein and nothing else. Also wtf you can't just tell her to eat any fats
