Osman and Lamagoodle you are our favourite bachelors. I hope this narrative gives you hope. We'll hook you up if it kills us.

Right below the belt, Soph.

Nah! It's my bro Lamagoodle who's willing to tie the knot to a well off Xusul baruur. I am a lifelong bachelor and a free bird. :eat:

Sophi: that's rarity. I am genuinely happy for her. She should write a book about the love story.

Lama: I am not shopping just asking.

Thanks Sophisticated; you are also my favourite niece.

A match making need's analysis of Osman and I could reveal some profound differences; Osman is a thirsty lad somewhere in down under; xaawaley (supply) are in shortage. There is a demand surplus. Your correspondent, on the other hand, is in the lands of the plenty; and this is what makes it difficult; too many gold-diggers, too many xalimos that are stuck in the under 30 bracket (maba koraan); supply exceeds demand but still price appears to be high.

Anti-juli, I know you are not shopping  You are just enquiring...

Good day to all of you. It was a fun morning. I will keep you posted ...

The problem is you think marriage is prison. You will slow down and when you do that James Bond cocktail will mostly consist of prune juice. To give you regularity. You need a Xalimo then. :steviej:

Unfortunately, Soph, marriages/long term relationships these days seem like prison. At some stage, sooner or later the passion will die and you have to constantly be on your toes to create ways to reignite the "flame" and some other shit like that. And in worst case scenarios, a lot of unhappy couples stay in marriages/long term relationships because of the kids etc.

Nah, never! I'll pass coz I like my sanity & most importantly my freedom. :jawalrus:

Lam, thanks for the sheeko and catch you around, mate.

Lamagoodle wrote:You are a typical somali man of mature age. There is nothing special about you; lugo baasto, shaf dooro/digaag etc. You are not the stereotypical stout black man although you think that nin kaa shidan ilaahey maba abuurin. You are a somali afterall.

You are in the heartland of Africa. Suddenly, you become attractive to the Xaawaleys of this part of the world because they view you as different; probably they also think you are loaded in the department of wallet stoutness. In this part of the world, success is measured by the colour of your skin. Not that your correspondent is light skinned, He is somali black. You never ask “caanahaaga meeqa la gadaa” because you know that in this part of the world, abject poverty will even make a stone sexy.

Then at breakfast, you notice a middle-aged xaawaley from Asia looking at you and taking notes. You have a sense of fear; toloow ma jaajusbaa? She smiles when she notices that you are also watching her. She continues with whatever she is doing and you keep wondering "war nagtani maxaa ku daba dhigey".

10 minutes later, she puts a paper on your breakfast table. You take the paper and look at it. You notice that she was drawing you; a cartoon, a caricature but a funny one with the signature; Yuko and the words “ you look like god”.

What a way to start your day.
:( Lama, I am disappointed. I thought your thread was going to talk about how u took Prozac and it got rid of your "blues"! Terribly disappointed. :eat:
