Errr...no. We share nothing with them. Seeing as almost half of them are shias, we barely share a religion with them as well. We do share lots in common with south Yemeni ppl. I got relatives that live there with half yemeni half somali wives. Yemeni ppl are cool ppl intaan ka aqaan. Somalis and yemenis have long history. Lotta famous singers were yemeni origins. Famous somali proverb says we are close to yemen than many other countries 'ma cadan baa laga heesayaa'

It was said if your at the northern tip of somali peninsula u can hear yemen/eden from there.
