A Muslim can't have a hate for other Muslims. Get your facts straight. As for me, loving my fellow Muslims makes me better Muslim than be someone whose heart filled by hate towards other Muslims. I took refuge in Allah in having such hate in my heart for my fellow believers.

Brotherhood between believers was established by Allah in the Holy Quran: "Believers are indeed brothers" (Al-Hujurat, verse 10).

Allah (swt) also tells us in the Quran how important this brotherhood between the believers is:

"And adhere to the Bond of Allah, together, and do not be divided. And remember the Favor of Allah that was bestowed upon you: how you were enemies, and how He united your hearts, so that by His Favor you became brothers. And how He saved you from the Pit of Fire when you were on the brink of it. And so Allah makes plain to you His verses, in order that you will be guided." (Al-Imran, 103).

Allah (swt) also says in the Quran: "The believers, both men and women, are awlia (helpers, supporters, allies) to each other." (Al-Tawbah, 71)

Allah (swt) warns us against disunity, and how being divided and having disputes with each other will result in failure and loss: "Obey Allah and His Messenger and do not dispute with one another, otherwise you will fail and lose your strength. Have patience - Allah is with those who are patient." (Al-Anfal, 46)

Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) said: "You will not enter paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you love one another." (Sahih Muslim). He also said: "You will not be a believer until you love for your brother what you love for yourself" (Sahih Al-Bukhari).

Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) also told us how Allah (swt) on the day of judgement will shade those believers who loved each other only for the sake of Allah (swt): "Allah (swt) will say on the day of Judgement: Where are those who loved each other for my sake? I will shade them today, when there is no shade but mine!" (Sahih Muslim).

In fact, this feeling of love and brotherhood between the Muslims brings us joy in our life as well. It will give us this wonderful feeling of the sweetness of faith, a feeling of true pleasure and satisfaction. Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) said: "There are three things that if one has them, he will find the sweetness of faith. That Allah and His messenger be more beloved to him than anything else, that he love a person for no reason other than for the sake of Allah, and to hate to go back to disbelief as much as he hates to be thrown into fire." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)

If you're a Muslim, firs, I say estağfurullah. However, how can you declare another Muslim an infidel? You're OP of this thread. Look at its title. The fellow Arab brother that you call an infidel has a sujuud (mark) on his face that has resulted the constant prayer that he performs. If you also look at the conclusion of his lecture, he has ended by emphasizing unity and faith in Islam. That is the man you called an infidel, subhana'Allah. Wallahi, if you're a Muslim, you're in a big trouble spiritually. If it is true that you're a Muslim, go and learn the principals of Islam and Muslim brotherhood.

Fyi, being a Somali without Islam is useless and has no purpose. It does not exist and will never exist. That is what defines us. Don't be fooled by narrow nationalism. It will never take us anywhere. Our solution lies embracing brotherhood and sisterhood, and that can only be found in Islam.

You're right, he's from Somalia. Anyone who has ever dealt with our "cadcad" community knows the man in the video in indeed Reer Xamar just from his "reer Xamar" accent when he sneaks in Somali phrases. And yes, Barawaanis and Reer Xamars can look this Arab. Those who have
been to beautiful Baraawa, Marka, or even in our capital in places like Shangaani or Xamarweeyne will know this. No one is trying to
claim them as ethnic Somalis, laakin waa dad oo nala dagan, waana dad fiican oo diinta ku dhagan.

I can see how he can come across condescending, but he's doing his best by trying to be inclusive in saying "We Somalis" on

Personally no. But my parents told me there was a small presence in the capital pre-war, and my mom even had some business dealings with them. I would imagine none of them were like our Reer Xamar, Barawaani, and Makane compatriots who have been in Somalia for generations. I'm guessing Indians were there for a generation, or two max (I might be wrong though).

as for the topic,i watched the video again and the guy clearly says we on several occasions.his pronunciation of Somali words sounds Somali to me.banooni so ciyaar,especially when he says that.also,there are many Somali Yemenis who are lighter than this guy.
