It takes a period of time to sponsored by a spouse as well (not too sure how long). Well you must be a permanent resident and live in Canada for 3-4 years to be eligible.

It's still in my favour, since I can reject your application. However, I did consider doing a doctorate in the UK at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. It's just quite pricey as an international student. Make it mutualistic.

Then again, I could just as easily stay here. Or go to America where I was born.
