Dude, you are right as Somalis, we probably have and do more harm to each other. That does not excuse the fact that Arabs in general view us as lesser human beings. I understand your feelings of attachment towards them on account of certain myths you hold to be true, however, the treatment of Somalis in Libya, Saudi, Yemen etc is evidence enough. Me personally, I'm indifferent to Arabs. I've met many great Arabs and I was treated well when I visited Morocco, Egypt, Oman and UAE. But I've also read stories about how Somalis have been tortured/killed in Yemen and Saudi Arabia. So the Arabs have good apples and bad apples.....and I really don't spend my hours obsessing about these foreign people. They're not in my country. So long as the Arabs stay out of Somalia then I have nothing to say.

And from my experience, blacks like these carribeans can be extremely racist toward somalis so whats your point? Everyone is racist as in having prejudices. We must look out for eachother to shield ourselves from other peoples nonsense, or be a victim of it.

@sieena i was in my early teens, not that young, but i can spot racism very easily. i was always overly sensitive to things like that. In my experience the most racist arabs are egyptions and Libyans, I've seen a lot of black and algerian couples. lebanon isn't racist, the people there are striving to be white, so they are colourist, they hate on darker arabs. i think most countries that had black slaves have some sort of animosity towards them (including somalis) but that isn't true for everyone. i live amongst them, i have racist aunts and uncles but its never towards somalis, more so towards either jamaicans and other black canadians. I've personally never experienced racism, but it exists everywhere. and somalis are racist to everyone, bantus, arabs, whites, jamaicans etc. dont deny it.

Look bottom line is, any arab country with an increasing amount of BLACK refugees and previously owned black slvaes, would have people who dont like them....but it isn't true of the general public. somalis shouldn't complain about racism when theyve done the same to arab somalis and bantus for years.

Sienna, I've lived in the UAE, in Baniyas a small town in Abu dhabi where my grandaunts live, I stayed there for around a month and went to the mosque everyday prayed side by side with 'racist' arabs, I experienced 0 racism, Oh and I was with my uncles there who ofcourse showed me around, played some footy in a indoor stadium, with racist arabs ofcourse, them racist arabs were pretty good at koorat al qadam tho

To hate all arabs is just insane as uncondtionally loving all things arab. I think we should be normal and neutral and should not generalize hundreds of millions of people by condemning them because of the actions of some elements in them. On the other hand, you'd be a foolish mofo to love all arabs because they are arabs. You deem yourself beneath them and them your superior because nothing else explains such attachment.
