He is from the Reer Boqor family and his title is Boqor. His greatgrandfather, Boqor Osman, ruled the last region to fall to the Italians. He's the 34th in a line of Boqors. Don't let your own bias blind you from accepting the facts.CaliQase wrote:Maybe the English could confuse me, markaa Af-Soomaali ka warran?Buraanbur wrote:Maybe you don't know what a monarch is.CaliQase wrote:What I can't take serious is not the good he is doing but the whole monarchy thing.
As I said, I am happy to see the good being done.
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/monarchMonarch noun mon·arch \ˈmä-nərk, -ˌnärk\
1: a person who reigns over a kingdom or empire: as
a : a sovereign ruler
b : a constitutional king or queen
2 : one that holds preeminent position or power
This is not someone who was inaugurated in the back of a Khat house somewhere in Eastleigh. He is from the Royal family and descends from a line of Kings ( he is the 34th King). You are forgiven for your ignorance and confusion.
You and Jalaaludin can take your critique of his appearance and apparel to another topic.

Somalis have no monarch nor is Somalia a monarch state. Easy there Darod kids. He is Darod chief/King/leader and doesn't concern the rest of the Somali populous nor Somalia. The Xhosa chief is more monarch than the Darod chief since he is recognized as a King by several African states as well as international players. He is still powerless but before colonization the Zulus had monarch counties of their own.
He is no Somali monarch.
He is no Somali monarch.

Boqorku is trying to save somalis from barbaric attacks something no other Somali figure is trying to do. But u know how we look everything through qabil lens. Ungrateful focks.

He was inaugurated last year. His inauguration was attended by traditional elders from across the Somali inhabited lands.jalaaludin5 wrote:subject-kiisa ha la weydiyo.CaliQase wrote: Goormaa la doortay horta? Sidee loo soo doortay? Ma 4.5? Xagee lagu soo doortay? Yaa doortay?
War horta ninkaan warkiisa keena.
koley anaku hadaanu nahay reer jabuuti Ismaciil Cumar Geele uunba noo boqor/Madaxweyne iyo Suldaanba noo ah.

He is currently busy doing work the "President" of Somalia should be doing, but if time permits he will visit his constituents in the South. I am in contact with his people and can get your questions to him, so what issues would you like him to address? The abuse of power? The deterioration security situation? AMISOM & the on-going apartheid?CaliQase wrote:Aan ku weydiiyee weli Muqdisho iyo Koonfur Boqorku ma tagay?

Wallahi I applaud his efforts for speaking up against xenophobic attacks but the thread maker is insisting we acknowledge his boqornimo.Halmog wrote:Boqorku is trying to save somalis from barbaric attacks something no other Somali figure is trying to do. I'm not insisting on anything. Whether you accept the facts or not, it will not change reality or take away from the Honorable King's family history and legacy. He is the custodian of the Somalis.jalaaludin5 wrote:Wallahi I applaud his efforts for speaking up against xenophobic attacks but the thread maker is insisting we acknowledge his boqornimo.Halmog wrote:Boqorku is trying to save somalis from barbaric attacks something no other Somali figure is trying to do.
