I'm surprised piss poor ethiopians could afford giving out money or things from their shop.WaaliCas wrote:Jalaaludin its funny how they cry Somalinimo even when lil Abyssinian girls cyber slap them on the net. All of sudden they crying; 'she insulted all Somalis, tolaayaay'.
They only cry Somalinimo when shown the truth. She did fantastic job but should educate herself about Islam. Personally speaking I feel more comfortable practicing my Islamic faith in Ethiopia than Somalia. In Somalia some Wahabi, Salafist, this and that may blow me up but in Ethiopia all Muslims co-exist and in turn co-exist their fellow Tewahedo brothers...in recent times Ethiopia has seen a surge in radical Pentay (Pente hence Evangelicals).
We used to celebrate Orthodox new year together with the good old hoya hoye song and few weeks later we used to mark Eid and Ramadan together. The best thing was Ethiopian shops always used to open their shops for us during these times as kids and used to give us money, candies, toys. Regardless of faith, whatever we got we used to share it as kids and go down to the park or go get ice creams, our favorite soft drinks. That's why I'm optimistic about Ethiopia because I grew up there and I know the reality on the ground and the tolerance that we preserve for each others even in the midst of all chaos. Ethiopians don't get emotional and get involved in politics and destroy their neighbors. My own landlord was Amhara lady, a hardcore Tewahedo follower and she used to cry her eyes out whenever we get into a fight with other kids worrying for our own safety---caring for us.
She used to suffer almost heart attack![]()
I grew up in a neighborhood like this...
Used to sit under trees like those with followers very much like that and we used to dig into potatoes and chilliOr ride the bike around if not playing soccer. My homeboy who was Amhara, used to attend private school and after school he used to teach me English. Once I came to the West in fact not only did I skip ESL but primary school thanks to his lessons.
Nothing but great memories in the holy land.

You can't skip primary school just because you know a few English sentences you lying fxxk.
Re: Ethiopian girl owns a Somali guy on youtube comment section
Lol it's most likely hawdian or another slander, almost every forum I go to, there's one lander there teaching the clueless people "south somalia are savages, we are different" lol

For sure they skipped me good years and by the time I landed the man could read GarfieldSiennaEarth wrote:

Ngga past his ESL with Garfield
That's why in the future I plan to advocate for free education in Ethiopia. You nomads are mad coz ya'll burnt each others huts and killed each others' neighbors.
I remember outside our city there was war between the rebels and the gov but it never made people against people. The rebels came in took over offices, replaced leaders, reshuffled government agencies and named new generals for the armed forces...temporarily begun referring to the currency as qarshi (used by Tigrais and Oromo) rather than Birr. And that was it.
But look at Somalia...of course she is right that indeed it is the land of savages. Minorities had to dig holes to hide their girls from the Hawiye militia for instance. Barre bombed cities to the ground while our leaders have not shelled a single city----even Asmara maintains its Italian look thanks to Ethiopian army been civil.

You're a liar, how can you skip primary school because you could read a few sentences? You do know they teach other things in primary school than just English right? They teach maths, science and when you get to year 4/5/6 they teach history, RE, Geography etc too. So how could you skip it just because you could read garfield?WaaliCas wrote:For sure they skipped me good years and by the time I landed the man could read GarfieldSiennaEarth wrote:

WaaliCas.
Believe me I can detect fake tears 'hooyoo Soomalia' from a mile off. If a teenage girl on youtube can cause such demented reaction I can only imagine the damage a man can do.
I had Ethiopian friends tell me the same thing about Eid and Christmas. How they use to celebrate each others festivals without any Hang-ups .The peaceful coexistence between the two faith is one of the most beautiful thing in that country. It was an Ethiopian Christian that introduced me to Ethiopian Menzuma.
You have the best of both world. You are Somali by birth and a Ethiopian by every right. Somalia/somaliland/Djibouti are all yours and no Ethiopian can lay claim to it and Ethiopia is also your country. But the same cannot be said for a ethiopian in regards to Somalia.

We are funny creatures walaahi. I always get man when Somalis get emotional about Ethiopia been the enemy when in all honesty the greatest enemy is ourselves. From Ogadenia to the invasion of the South it has always been a Somali holding on to the tip of an Ethiopian d'ick, as he lead them to his own front door. Somalis know nothing about loving their country. They haven't got a clue about what it means to be true to your country regardless of Who's (clan) in charge. And even now with everything that happened and still happening, we are still none the wiser.

Yes I have been to Harar but for me it was dreadful and boring place. I hated it. There are not much activity for kids and not many kids around. Most people stay indoor or send their kids abroad or elsewhere in the country. It's very boring place.
We didn't know who is who or who is which qabil so I can't tell you that. All we seen was just Ethiopians. Even ma kala aqoon their ethnics let alone qabil.

How come you have Mengistu as your avatar? Did you ever meet him?
Re: Ethiopian girl owns a Somali guy on youtube comment section
No I did not meet him but he is probably my favorite Ethiopian leader for many good reasons. My uncle worked for him though. I grew up under his rule. I met his army, played with them and as a kid you can imagine how happy a boy is to play with all the big toys including tanks and seeing helicopters, fighter jets over his head. I used to love exploring their bases and they were cool guys.ayancandy wrote:How come you have Mengistu as your avatar? Did you ever meet him?
Under him also Ethiopians were one and ethnic was a taboo. I believe in that too like him so we share a lot in common. He was told he couldn't rule because his mother was this and that-----but he proved everyone wrong and wiped the false Solomonic system out.
I do love to slay many myths like him too. So I relate to him. My family also received their Ethiopian citizenship/rights under him.
Mengistu Haile Mariam is the true Ethiopian that Ethiopiannized Ethiopia. Before him Haile Selassie only managed to achieve the name through the UN security council. Mengistu made the transition and made Abyssinia and Ethiopia (the now much expanded nation) into one at harmony itself. Of course he inherited a lot of chaos from Haile Selassie especially in the north but Mengistu left the country intact gracefully rather than turn it into chaos and neighbor vs neighbor like Barre's Somalia.
Salute Mengistu.
