I posted a map from the UNCHR which states that 2/3rds of all those fleeing Yemen have come to Puntland. No faan or claim, but a fact. You must be mistakening Puntland for Somaliland where the government refused to take in IDPs because international aid agencies refused to refer to them as refugees or, where just now, the Somaliland government has refused to take in any more Somalis fleeing Yemen due to "lack of resources" when they've only taken in less than half of what Puntland has. This has nothing to do with resources but the SL government finding out that 1) there was no money to be made in this and 2) they couldn't politicize this situation.

Puntland has taken in the vast majority of Somalis and me recommending that Warsheekh contact the Sheikhs in Bosaso shouldnt upset you. PL has not only taken in double the amount of people that Somaliland has, but they've done it without so much as complaining and continue to take in hundreds more people on a daily basis. Aside from the locals who have donated as much as they could from their own resources, even taking people into their homes when the camps get cramped, the government, police, business people and the religious class are all united in providing a helping hand. Just a few days ago, the President of Puntland abd the ambassador of Yemen visited a camp with 3,000 people.

Where are the wadaads in Somaliland when people are on the verge of death because of dehydration?

Stop lying puntland has done nothing but feed and shelter these people. Which is what we've always done. The reason why puntland has peace and prosperity is because of our generous nature to always help our brothers and sisters from other parts of somalia. Bosaso is thriving financially because our businessmen who know how to give it to the poor. Somaliland is the most xasiid most discriminatory somali region ever. It is a basic duty for us to help each other in times of need. Puntland should be commended for their efforts but lets not boast about fulfilling a basic requirement as Muslims and Somali people. However, it is a real shame on the Somaliland government for turning away their brothers & sisters in their time of need.

So, like I stated above, this is about money and politics. IDPs = internally displaced peoples, meaning Somaliland is still part of Somalia in the eyes of the UN. Furthermore, hosting IDPs is not lucrative so there is no financial incentive to help your own. Puntland has nothing to gain politically or economically here and are doing this out of the goodness of their hearts.

BTW, refer to me as a pintilander or faqash. I prefer that to walawein.
