What im telling him was -if I understood his question well- your "half brothers/sister" are your full siblings in islam and your equal to eachother no matter who shares mums but their siblings from their mums are not your mahrams

Waryaa, gifts are allowed but it preferable to give gifts to other kids too, so siblings not hate each other. There is reason Allah told us story of yaqoob and his sons. The elder sons said our father favores yusuf and his brother and loves them more than us. So to kill him , our father love to be for us.

Lesson to learn to not openly favor some of children than other.
