FGM is wrong, female circumcision is within the deen and also has some health benefits to it. The fircoon style mutilation that happens in east africa is disgusting and not supported by the diin. As previous posters said nothing will deter us from practicing our diin.

Allah ordered Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to follow the religion of Ibrahim (peace be upon him). When Allah says:

Where in that Hadith does it say that it is compulsory to Mutilate Children?!! As I have stated in one of my Threads, the Terrorizing, Torture, Mutilation and Traumatizing of Children Cannot be compared to "shaving the pubic region, clipping the nails and cutting the moustaches short."

What if the scholars are mistaken or lying? How can we be sure of the veracity of these Hadiths, which force parents to Terrorize, Torture, Mutilate and Traumatize their Children? And most importantly, why is the individual not given a choice?

The Quran has no mention of circumcision. It makes no request for circumcision of men or women. In numerous verses of the Qur'an, Allah tells us that he has created everything, including human beings, in the most perfect form. In the following verse, Allah explicitly states this with regards to the human creation:

The only place that circumcision is mentioned is in the Hadith.

So we can see that hadith are in clear contradiction of the Quran which clearly states that (God) "formed you and perfected your forms" so when a hadith tells yo to change that form by cutting off part of your body it is clearly wrong.

Circumcision is a matter of personal choice. It is not compulsory in Islam, it is only mentioned in the hadith and is mentioned in the same context as cuttings ones hair or nails.

The Hadiths are in Clear Contradiction of the Holy Quran, and other Hadiths as well!

Indeed it is the false propaganda that we're all rejecting. Who cares how the anti circumcision crew lived their lives. Male circumcision must be done under Islamic law. Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) did circumcise himself, Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had told us to do it, the Torah recommended people to do it, now what do people these people want? I tell you what there is more to what these people want: In my view, big forces are at play here, and it is anti Islam / anti religion agenda. Don't let them fool us.
