Somaliland was created by SNM a Isaaq rebel-movement. Buuba is a man from the Isaaq tribe. It's understandable to have him advocate for the ideological and political aspirations of his tribe. The only problem here is he forgot to assess the situation at hand. At one hand we have the "Back to the Colonial Protectorate" group and at the other hand we have the "Colonialism ended in 1960, we make our own legacy" group. When it comes to debate, I can't imagine how the former group would be able to sell their argument to the Somali people and the rest of the world.
