Did it have magic squares, squares with numbers inside them like sudoku?
Does it look something like this?

Yes , that's exactly what i'm talking about , this one is the Alphabet version , there is also a numeric one , basically letters get translated into numbers and vice versa , every square has a different meaning and is made for calling on different jinns and angels. I was once chilling with some sufi who had a whole library full of these books and apparently Jewish qabalist (jewish sufis) also use them. They believe that Magic is not inherently evil but it can used for evil and good.
Example of magic square some sufis use
Ahmed al buni a Sufi master developed "Islamic magic" in the middle ages , he mixed Jewish qabala which itself was influenced by hellenistic magic with Islamic pracrtices

If black magic existed, you'd hear more than just rumor and superstition about it. Armies would use it, and warlords would go around terrorising and killing people for their own profit and power.
I tried black magic but Ktulu would not answer my call

Apparently the US army was working with the CIA on a psychic spy program , they actually used psychics in espionage , the soviet union also had a similar program with psychic telekenists involved , the cold war stories qosol bay kugu dilayaaan

Firefly wrote:Gerigoor, I concur with most of what you've said. Black magic/sihr is real and it exists. I personally know of people who had sihr done on them and truly it is one of the most horrible things an individual could do to another, which is why the punishment for it is so severe in Islam. Engaging in black magic is an act of kufr and if you don't repent from it, it can take you outside the fold of Islam.
Believing in sihr, evil eye/al ayn and Jinn is part of Islam. You can't deny their existence because it is mentioned in the Qur'an and Sunnah. The cure for them is also in the Qur'an and Sunnah.
Thanks Firefly.

Ask an Asian. They practice hella black magic. I have a lot of Bengali friends and black magic is rampant in their community. A friend of mine's brother went back home for a short holiday and suddenly became insanely obsessed with a cousin. He would not leave her alone. He told everyone he loved her and wanted to marry her. He was going insane. He refused to leave the country. His family took him to some shaykh who said they'd probably find something buried in their back yard. And they did. Some pieces of paper with Arabic writing and signs. After that was destroyed, he felt better. Quran was read on him but (I'm sure this is shirk), they insisted he wear a "Tabeez" like a necklace for protection. When it should be only Allah whose protection anyone should be seeking.

Also my habo had it done to her by her ex-husband or a jealous cousin (no one is sure whom). She is a fully-fledged doctor but now that a jinn was sent to possess her, she cannot work as one. Every time she tries, her head spins, she is overcome by pain and her hands shake.
I've witnessed the jinn make a few appearances... And it spoke Hebrew in a deep, horrible voice (the sort you hear in horror movies) and it was making the rockstar hand sign and the 666/OK handsign. Never been so traumatised in my life.
