In your culture, who organises the food shopping and makes sure that that the bills are paid, traditionally speaking? The woman right? Hardly something unique to us.

Not really. Other Muslim cultures, the money goes into man's bank account from his workplace and only time he takes the money out for the family is when his wife ask for it. This is a Classic thing here, well well is too much to ask for people to have a full insight and perspective.
You might as well label anything culture these days you know. It's very easy to have myopic view of things

Also...what the hell are you on about....its the WhiteDude who said that. All I said is hablaha suuqa ayeey tagaan, was it different before the war? Did women never do the household shopping pre civil war? Seeing as they were the ones who did the cooking, they knew what to buy.
