I'm pretty sure every Somali (including myself) in this country has lost someone close to them to gun violence, it's terrible wallahi. I think it's counterproductive to point fingers and say this country's Somali community is bad and ours isn't, when in reality each community has its own strengths and struggles. I think it's best if Somalis leave the West altogether and try to help fix up back home. I know back home is far from perfect, but the things I've been exposed to here is something I would never want my future kids to see.
