I love how people who haven't even been to the city are experts in municipal water infrastructure. Sit down and drink your shaah.

What's with all the concern about Hargeisa's water supply.
Personally......I wouldn't mind if a few tons of cyanide accidently found it's way into the water system. :)

Hargeisa was founded in a bad place.
There is plenty of water under Hargeisa too, I lived there. We used to part the sand and water gushed forth. The problem is not luck water underground, but pipes. The EU funded program which is underway right now should solve that
How hard is to dig a deep water well ? Not hard. Almost every mid-size somali town has one, forget about the bigger towns. Seems like SL is way behind of other somali regions. Very sad.
Your people are literally starving. You don't have enough food

Hargeisa is not comparable to Bosasso town. Hargeisa is 6 times bigger then bosaso

Bosaso town no water

Mogadishu water availability is not only a daily pre- occupation, it is also a daily struggle.

Next time you google something, read it first. The report on bosaso says water shortage was due to the arrest of the workers, it was a couple days event. There was no water problem, just the company not coming to work for a few days.

you keep repeating this as if it makes the problem of hargeisa go away, or normal.

Bosaso will still manage its water even if it had 2 millions citizens, because the huge amount of water underneath the city, and also we're not busy chewing khat and talking about qabyalad, we're organised and we have educated citizens.

Mogadishu IDP camps in 2011, the year of famine ? Come on son, jabkaada iska qiro. Funny thing is Xamar IDPs currently have more water to use than your rich people in SL. Africa's best kept secret indeed. :pac:
