Alot ppl sold their homes in the early 90s because they needed the money desperately to leave the country. Fast forward 20 plus years and some of those ppl returned to the country and laid claim to the homes they sold. Imaan darro.net
The number of pending cases about home ownership claims sitting in the court is mind blowing.
Allow sahal amuuraha.

Horta xamar maxa laga dul wareegayaa uun sidii dukhsi xaar ku duulaysa? Somalia is big and blessed, dhulkaa ilaahay balaadhiyey guri ka dhista. It's why I can't stand Hargeisa anymore either, every tom, di.ck and harry is claiming your land and building a million ugly houses next to you.
If the ladies produced the papers, sheekada halkaa ha ku dhamaato.

What is weird about this whole story is the girls are claiming to have been kicked out of the house and the old man is claiming the same thing. And they are both blaming Mungaab and other members of this Somali government. Mid baa been sheegaya. In the video in that new thread by Somaliman it appears the old man is actually inside the house he claims he was kicked out of.

Did you see the pictures? This house is located less a kilometer from the beach. It is at a prime location in the city. They probably intend to immediately tear down the existing building and build a huge beach-side hotel there and make a killing in the future. Xamar jeceel gooni uma hayaan inta badan laakin it is easily the best city to do business in Somalia.

Many many people relocated getting on with their lives , but small percentage want to reclaim their rightful property, but what chance do they have , if this old man who put up with the all the years of civil war is forcefuly evicted his own property.
