I wear the headscarf on and off and sometimes I wonder "what's the point" because it suppose to protect you from men perving on you but it seem to have the opposite affect when I wear it.
I get more attention when I wear the headscarf and I don't wear trousers with it either but for some reasons I seem to attract guys from left, right and centre as if I got something written on my forehead saying I am desperate for men. I even had men asked me out-right for sex...yucky ....
So it seems hilabi means nothing to men nowadays...expect to your family.

You're wearing hijab with tight clothes eedo. Wear loose outfit if you don't want male attention.

hijab shouldnt be for protection from men (that what law does, to protect people), but hijab should be something spritually you want to practice. i dislike when sheikhs lecture about hijab as men are frustrated sexual animal and cannot control themselves and women's job to protect them from they sexual uncontrolable nature!!!
men need to lower their gaze period and nothing to do how woman dresses. i am also against to force little girls to wear hijab. what about teaching them at young age to pray, fast and learn their religion, connect at personal level with God, before hijab?
i believe hijab comes as consequesnce of spritual journey one taking that one relieze your out looking doesnt matter to any one but your inner self!
this morning, when i was dropping my siblings to school, i noticed my 17 years old sister (grade 12) was wearing pijamas bottom for school! i asked her why she is wearing a pijama to school? she said " ohh, its comfortable, i do not care any more, not like i am grade 9 and wanted to impress other kids"
wallah wan far7ay, cause she does what she is comfortable of not what social convention dictates. just told her to watch out and dont let mom and dad see her.lol

I agree with most of your points
but you should have told her to wear anything she likes (apart from pyjamas) that is covered and clean
